2015-2016 Season Payment Procedures **Important Changes**

MSP is pleased to be gearing up for fall events and the 2015-2016 season.  We have made exciting strides moving forward with the technology and media aspects of our program.  We have an updated website that will launch by January 2016, which will be mobile friendly.  You will start to see more features added to our events with MSP and Midwest Media, videos, social media and much more!  As technology advances, MSP has decided to move forward with a change in our payment procedures, effective the start of our fall season.  Please see below the new payment procedures for MSP events:

The payment deadline for all events is the Sunday before the event at midnight.  The only exception to this is in the case of tournaments in which MSP has advertised that the payment deadline is earlier.

All teams must pay online through www.usssa.com for every event by the payment deadline.  MSP will no longer accept payments over the phone or by check. 

Any team that is unpaid by the payment deadline is subject to be removed from the tournament prior to scheduling.

We appreciate all of your understanding with these changes.  If you are unfamiliar with how to pay online and/or need any assistance in learning this process, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 913-543-6116.   

Specialty Events and Circumstances

On occasion, we have events that will require payment and procedures outside of our norm.  We will make all appropriate communications to alert teams to these situations.  On events such as the Hawaiian Hitfest, Cowtown Showdown, and Monster Bash we will reach our capacity very early (as often as two to 2-3 months in advance).  On these situations, we will require payment early by a specified date for teams to remain in the event.


We will be posting information here on problems and fixes for working through the USSSA.com/ISTS system.  If you are having errors getting a payment to take, here are some potential reasons that could be the cause.

  • You must log-in directly to the website from a clean browser.  You cannot be re-directed or on a site that is nested inside another website.
  • Internet Explorer is the preferred browser for USSSA.com.  other Browsers can and will operate with this website, but IE provides the most compatible way to view and interact with USSSA.com
  • The Billing Information on the card much match exactly as it is entered on the site (including spaces, directional streets, and punctuation)
  • The Phone number has a specific format:  555-555-5555
  • When you enter the card number, only enter the digits.  Please do not enter any dashes or spaces.
  • The Expiration date must be a 4 digit entry.  Example:  04/11

On the week of the tournament

This deadline is for both ENTRY & REMOVAL from the tournament. If the deadline were to be moved earlier (i.e. State Tournaments) it will be noted on the tournament information and the schedule.  Please be sure to verify the entry deadline to ensure that your team can still get a spot reserved.

Team Limitations

We do make every attempt to include every team, but realistically there are limitations to a tournament.  Tournaments can and do have the ability to fill up prior to the deadline.   Whenever possible, we will update the website to allow you to see the maximum number of teams that can enter an event.

We highly recommend that your team enter the following tournaments as early as you can.  We have filled them to capacity over the last three seasons.  Those events are:

Hawaiian Hitfest
Cowtown Showdown
Monster Bash Baseball

Returned Checks

Checks returned to MSP for any reason will incur a $20 service charge.
