USSSA Summer National Championship

USSSA Basketball is proud to announce a new true National Championship series that puts boys and girls teams from seven  Regions on the road to a National Championship to play some of the best competition in the country!

This USSSA National Championship Series was designed with our USSSA teams in mind; we know the cost of traveling to out of town tournaments is often a hardship for teams who want to experience the electrifying atmosphere of a National event but can’t afford it, that’s what is so great about this National Championship Series! Under this new National format, there will be seven USSSA National Regional Championships which will allow teams to advance to the three day National Tournament of Champions August 10th to 12th held in Kansas City.

Tournament of Champions Qualifying

The Summer National Championships are the only way a team can qualify for the USSSA Tournament of Champions.  The top 2 teams from each division will be awarded a Berth to the Tournament of Champions.  These berths may be passed down at the time of the Summer National Championships.

TEAMS MAY NOT DIRECTLY ENTER THE TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS.  A BERTH IS REQUIRED.

FAQ

What is the registration fee for the Summer National Tournament?

$395 per team.  For clubs with three or more teams, a discounted rate of $350 will be offered.

How do I qualify for the Tournament of Champions?

You must earn a berth through a USSSA Summer National Tournament

What is the fee for the Tournament of Champions?

There is no additional registration charge for teams to compete in the Tournament of Champions.

If I don’t qualify in one region can I play in another Regional National to qualify? 

Yes, you can play in any number of Regional Nationals to qualify for the Tournament of Champions, but once you qualify you are only eligible for one tournament registration and travel fund allotment.

What are the rules for the Regional National Championship and the Tournament of Champions?

Both tournaments will abide by the USSSA National Tournament rules.
