MSP Fastpitch Instructional Clinics

For the summer of 2012, we will be traveling around the Midwest hosting Instructional Clinics.

Clinics will cover All Aspects of Softball to include Hitting, Bunting, Proper Techniques of Throwing & Catching, Fielding, Baserunning, and much much more!

All Clinics will be instructed by local and state College Coaches and Current and Former College Players. Camp Director Darren Petersen has 26 years experience running Camps and Clinics and these camps will be informational, instructional, and fun. 

Camp Format

The Camp will be a Four Hour Event.

Players will be divided into four groups and go through four (4) 45-minute Rotations that cover but are not limited to

  • Offense – Hitting / Bunting / Drag Bunting / Slapping
  • Defense – Throwing Drills, Catching Drills, and Fielding Fundamentals
  • Defense - Infield and Outfield Drills and Fundamentals
  • Base running – Lead offs, Dive backs, Run Throughs, Picking up Coaches, and Sliding. ( Slide Rite Provided )

All Rotations will be run by Current and Former College players and Coaches.

There will be a 15 minute Break after Rotation Number two and Snacks and Drinks will be provided.

Camp will conclude with Competitions and Awards
