MSP/USSSA Exposure Events

We have spoken to many college coaches over the past few years and they have all expressed the fact that they are only allowed a few chances a year to evaluate players. What coaches say they want is an event that covers many aspects of recruiting and evaluating.  We are offering a series of Events that will focus on increasing this interaction and amount of evaluation that they get.

These events will be hosted at cities across the Midwest throughout the Summer of 2012.  Here is a list of what our Exposure Events will focus on, as requested by the college coaches that we spoke to.

  1. Testing: Athletic & Softball related testing with results that are posted and given to every coach in attendance. Also, results that are emailed to all coaches that request results. Included are colleges that are unable to attend but have expressed interest in our event.
  2. Practices: One hour practice with the team they are placed on. This way the coaches will get to evaluate players fielding, hitting, and base running. Even if a ball is never hit to them in a game or if they are walked in games.
  3. Games: TWO games of LIVE competition. Playing your primary position and limited time at your secondary position. You will NOT be a Shortstop playing Right field as coaches have been to events that cost far more for far less offered and see players out of position. Playing time policies implemented. EQUAL playing time and play in both games.
  4. Coaches Time: To talk to players and answer or ask questions of them.
  5. Player Program: Complete profile! MUCH MUCH MORE!
  6. Aftercare Program:  After the Event is over, each player will have an email with their results and profile sent to TEN colleges of their choice by Director Darren Petersen.  He will also be available for any questions about recruiting a parent or player may have.

Event Features

  • Event held on a weekday as to not interfere with summer select teams or High School Teams schedule. College Coaches are available on weekdays.
  • Game coaches will be NAIA and DIII coaches.
  • Professional Score Book kept and all stats given to the coaches in attendance and also emailed to those coaches that request stats that are not in attendance
  • T-Shirts - Every girl will be given a color coded T-Shirt with a number on the back! Why is this significant? Because many Exposure Tourneys & Events give the players a simple wrist band, that is very hard to see, so it is very hard to evaluate. If you are a College Coach looking for a 2012 Shortstop and 2012 is Color Red..it’s very simple to look at all 4 fields and see a red shirt at Shortstop. No numbers will be duplicates --so you go to the RED ( 2012 ) program and look up that # to see the players profile. The college coaches LOVED this system when we presented it to them.
  • Director has over 25 years experience coaching and recruiting at the college level and has assisted in getting over 50+ girls to the college level.
  • Over 40+ colleges in attendance
  • Limited Number of players – 112 players will be allowed to participate - Limited by position. Example - we will only allow 16 catchers, 24 pitchers, etc. etc.
  • 2012 thru 2015 players accepted! First Come First Serve!
