In 2011, Midwest Sports Productions was able to award five $1,000 scholarships to deserving fastpitch softball players that have been MSP participants. We will continue that program for 2012 and will hopefully be able to expand that program even further. There will be an application process and there will be an outside committee who will be in charge of selecting the five worthy applicants. These scholarships will be one-time awards and will go to post-high school courses of study at either a college/university or other post-secondary educational opportunity.

May 9, 2012 - Dub's Dread Golf Course

Midwest Sports Productions is proud to announce its 2nd Annual Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament to be held at Dub’s Dread Golf Course, May 9, 2012. We are looking for an opportunity to give back to those who help make us who we are and want you to join us. This event should provide a platform for coaches, parents, fans, and businesses to share a round of golf while supporting a good cause.

There will also be several sponsorship opportunities available for this event. We will be offering a wide array of tournament sponsorship packages and price ranges to best fit your company or small business’ needs. Sponsorship opportunities range from simply being a hole sponsor to being the title sponsor of the entire event. As for the golf portion of the event, it will be held at local favorite Dub’s Dread Golf Course in Kansas City, Kansas. The course itself ranges between 5,400-7,100 yards and each fairway is beautifully lined with trees. Tee time is set for a 1:00 pm shotgun start, with a 4-man scramble format. There will be hole prizes and tournament prizes awarded. Entry fee is $85 per/person and this will include a catered  dinner at the completion of the round.
