Procedures for the 4th Pool Game

With an odd number of teams, it required some pools to have an "extra" game.  This fourth game is necessary to get each team their necessary three pool games in.  We will handle the seeding of this game as follow:

  • The runs allowed and the Win/Loss result in that game will not count towards the team's (playing the 4th game) total.
  • The result of the game (win/loss) will only be used in head-to-head consideration if a tie in pool play occurs between the two teams.
  • Teams will not be allowed to forfeit a 4th game if they are scheduled for it.
