Are you ready for some SOFTBALL?!? Don Harman’s family and friends will honor his memory through one of Don’s favorite pastimes: softball!

In past years, Don raised $28,000 for the FOX 4 Love Fund through his softball tournament. His teammates on the Above All team and his wife Monica have expanded the tournament this year to raise even more funds for the local charities that Don loved and supported. All proceeds from the tournament will be added to the donations in the Don Harman Memorial Fund.

After the tournament, Monica will distribute all the contributions to the Love Fund, Camps for Kids, Amethyst Place, the American Lung Association, as well as Solace House for their support in the days after his death. The Don Harman Memorial Summer Slam will be a men’s D/E USSSA sanctioned and co-ed, slow-pitch softball tournament. It will be held Saturday, July 28 at Blue Valley Sports Complex, located at 137th and Switzer in Overland Park, Kan.

Team entry fee is $200 with a three-game guarantee. Only full teams may enter. Individuals will not be paired with teams. First place prize is $500. Space is limited to the first 50 teams, and they’re filling up fast. Hurry and register!!!
