[About Midwest Sports Productions]
MSP will be a merger between members of three tournament companies already in operation in Kansas City. KCUSSSA/BluChip Events offers a combination of events in baseball, basketball, fastpitch, and slowpitch softball. KCUSSSA has hosted a USSSA World Series each of the past five seasons, the Kansas USSSA Fastpitch and the Kansas USSSA Basketball State tournaments since their inception. USSSAKC has focused on slowpitch and fastpitch and has been responsible for the development of the Missouri USSSA Fastpitch program and has hosted a USSSA Fastpitch World Series each of the last three seasons. Independent Tournaments has been in existence for only three seasons, but in that time it has grown to be one of the most reputable tournament companies in Kansas City and the Midwest.

Jeremy McDowell, formerly of Independent Tournaments, has been involved in the fastpitch softball in Kansas City for 7 years and helped to cultivate a very successful tournament series by hosting specialized events providing an environment of fun and competition for the participants in his events. The Hawaiian Hitfest, Monster Bash, Cowtown Showdown, and Mizuno Softball Series are just examples of events that are perennially run at their capacity.
