With nearly 500 teams signed up for Midwest Sports Productions tournaments this weekend (April 26-28), there’s sure to be non-stop action on the diamond. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect and teams to watch at each tournament this weekend.

5th Annual Alex Gordon Classic benefitting Alex’s Lemonade Stand

Since the beginning of this popular tournament, our teams and fans have raised nearly $180,000 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand – and the 2019 tournament looks to add a significant amount of money to that total. Kansas City Royals left fielder (and the hero of Game 1 of the 2015 World Series) Alex Gordon will be out at the ballpark for the tournament opening ceremony Saturday morning at 10am to speak to the crowd and congratulate the top fundraising teams. With more than 150 teams at Mid-America West, the competition for the championship will be fierce.
