Coach's Packet


Thank you for choosing to bring your team out to play in a Midwest Sports Productions tournament this weekend. We know you have many choices to consider when planning your schedule and we do not take your decision to play with us lightly. It is our goal every day to create a world class experience for your team.

USSSA SANCTIONED REQUIREMENTS:

All MSP tournaments are sanctioned with USSSA and we ask that all teams register with USSSA by going to www.usssa.com. It is important that your entire roster be online prior to playing in the tournament. It is your responsibility to have your roster online with the correct players. The USSSA system will not award any USSSA points to teams for their final placement in the tournament if the roster is not online, so be sure to take the time to load your team.

COACHES CHECK-IN:

Each park has a designated spot for coaches check-in. We will notify you before the tournament as to the location of check-in. We cannot stress enough how important it is to check-in prior to playing. Game balls will be provided.

All teams need to have paid for their entry before playing the first game.

Our team here at MSP is focused on placing the athlete first in all we do. It is our goal to provide everyone who walks through our gates with an atmosphere and experience that is conducive to youth athletics. We expect everyone to show respect and good sportsmanship to anyone they encounter – coaches, players, fans, umpires, staff and each other. We will not tolerate anything less.


Change of Venue Notification

There may be occasions, such as, but not limited to, inclement weather, facility setbacks, scheduling problems not the fault of MSP, and other acts of nature, that require MSP to reschedule tournament games to other nearby parks.  MSP policy is to play all tournaments despite such unfortunate setbacks.  MSP will do everything in its power to notify you well in advance of such re-scheduling.  Upon receiving such notification of rescheduled games at nearby parks, your team may withdraw from the scheduled tournament, but you must do so prior to 72 hours of the first scheduled game.  If you fail to withdraw from the tournament prior to the 72 hour period, your team will not be entitled to a refund or any other remedy.


Refund Policy

PlayMSP, along with our facility partners, makes all reasonable efforts to play our tournaments to completion. On occasion, circumstances beyond our control may cause an event to be called off before its completion. In the event of such circumstances, the below refund policy applies:

2 GAME GUARANTEE (One Day Tournament)

  • 0 Games Played: Full refund less administrative fee
  • 1 Game Played: No Refund

3 GAME GUARANTEE

  • 0 Games Played: Full refund less administrative fee
  • 1 Game Played: 40% Refund
  • 2 Games Played: No Refund

4 GAME GUARANTEE

  • 0 Games Started: Full refund less administrative fee
  • 1 Game Started: 50% Refund
  • 2 Games Started: 25% Refund
  • 3 Games Started: No Refund

5 GAME GUARANTEE

  • 0 Games Started: Full refund less administrative fee
  • 1 Game Started: 60% Refund
  • 2 Games Started: 40% Refund
  • 3 Games Started: 20% Refund
  • 4 Games Started: No Refund

ADMINISTRATIVE FEE

  • Non-Premium: 15%
  • Premium 25%
  • Admin Fee: The admin fee is for upfront cost that incur prior to the event taking place. Examples: Scheduling, field rental, awards, insurance, etc.

Examples of Premium Events: Hawaiian Hitfest, Monster Bash, Under Armour Championship Series, Fully Loaded Invitational, Fully Loaded 10U & 13U, and others identified by our organization.

Withdrawing from a Paid Event:

  • If your team pays for an event and voluntarily withdraws from the event before the payment deadline, a refund will be issued for the entry fee amount, less an administrative fee (15% for non-premium events, 25% for premium events).
  • If your team pays for an event and voluntarily withdraws from the event after the payment deadline, no refund will be issued.

$105 Prepaid Gate

  • 0 Days Played: $105 Refunded
  • 1 Day Played: No Refund

$210 Prepaid Gate

  • 0 Days Played: $210 Refunded
  • 1 Day Played: $100 Refunded
  • 2 Days Played: No Refund

$250 Prepaid Gate

  • 0 Days Played: $250 Refunded
  • 1 Day Played: $120 Refunded
  • 2 Days Played: No Refund
