Coach's Packet

Thank you for choosing to bring your team out to play in a Midwest Sports Productions tournament this weekend. We know you have many choices to consider when planning your schedule and we do not take your decision to play with us lightly. It is our goal every day to create a world class experience for your team.


All MSP tournaments are sanctioned with USSSA and we ask that all teams register with USSSA by going to It is important that your entire roster be online prior to playing in the tournament. It is your responsibility to have your roster online with the correct players. The USSSA system will not award any USSSA points to teams for their final placement in the tournament if the roster is not online, so be sure to take the time to load your team.


Each park has a designated spot for coaches check-in. We will notify you before the tournament as to the location of check-in. We cannot stress enough how important it is to check-in prior to playing. Upon check-in, you will receive a USSSA game ball for each pool play game scheduled to be played. If additional are needed, you can purchase them for $6 each. Each team is required to supply a USSSA game ball prior to each game.

All teams need to have paid for their entry before playing the first game.

Our team here at MSP is focused on placing the athlete first in all we do. It is our goal to provide everyone who walks through our gates with an atmosphere and experience that is conducive to youth athletics. We expect everyone to show respect and good sportsmanship to anyone they encounter – coaches, players, fans, umpires, staff and each other. We will not tolerate anything less.

Change of Venue Notification

There may be occasions, such as, but not limited to, inclement weather, facility setbacks, scheduling problems not the fault of MSP, and other acts of nature, that require MSP to reschedule tournament games to other nearby parks.  MSP policy is to play all tournaments despite such unfortunate setbacks.  MSP will do everything in its power to notify you well in advance of such re-scheduling.  Upon receiving such notification of rescheduled games at nearby parks, your team may withdraw from the scheduled tournament, but you must do so prior to 72 hours of the first scheduled game.  If you fail to withdraw from the tournament prior to the 72 hour period, your team will not be entitled to a refund or any other remedy.

Refund Policy

All of the facilities that we host our events at have a solid reputation for being able to handle inclement weather. Our organization and the organizations that we rent facilities from make all reasonable efforts to get our tournaments to completion. On occasion, mother nature is overwhelming to the point that events may have to be called off before their completion. On those occasions, here is our policy for refunds (these examples are based upon a 4 game guarantee tournament):


  • 0 Games Started:  Entry fee minus $50 administrative fee.
  • 1 Game Started:   50% of entry fee
  • 2 Games Started: 25% of entry fee
  • 3 Games Started:  No refunds


  • 1 Game:  60% back
  • 2 Games:  40% back
  • 3 Games:  20% back
  • 4 Games:  no refunds

Refunds may take up to two weeks.
